BeaconHome® App, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Beacon Home App (the “App”). It is designed to comply with applicable laws and Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines.
1. Data Collection
We collect the following types of data:
a. Personal Information
· Name, email address, phone number
· Emergency contact information (if provided)
· Account credentials
b. Location Data
· Precise geolocation when emergency features are activated
· Used solely to assist emergency responders and is not stored beyond the session
c. Device and Usage Data
· Device type, operating system, and unique identifiers
· App usage statistics, crash logs, and diagnostics
d. Smart Device Data
· Status and control signals for connected smart devices (e.g., porch lightbulbs)
· May be transmitted via Bluetooth or WiFi depending on your configuration
· WiFi functionality may require a compatible third-party bridge (e.g., Philips WiFi bridge) to extend range and reliability, especially on Apple iOS devices
· Used to trigger visual alerts during emergencies
2. Purpose of Data Use
We use your data to:
· Enable emergency response features
· Improve App performance and reliability
· Communicate with you regarding updates or support
· Comply with legal obligations
Emergency features may be impacted by device compatibility, network conditions, or third-party service interruptions. The App is not a substitute for professional emergency response systems or medical alert devices.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

· You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
· You may opt out of non-essential communications

We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law. Emergency-related data is not stored beyond the session unless explicitly authorized.

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verified parental consent.
